Senior analytics engineering with business context.
I am a Senior Analytics Engineer and Reporting Trust Consultant with more than eight years of production analytics engineering experience. I am UK-based and available for remote contract, interim and fixed-scope work with UK and international teams.
I work across SQL, dbt, Snowflake, BigQuery, Looker and LookML to build, refactor and stabilise the models, semantic logic, tests and reporting workflows that businesses depend on. The work stays hands-on while keeping the underlying decision, metric and operational context visible.
With an MBA from Alliance Manchester Business School and a broader commercial and leadership background, I developed a Reporting Trust approach to clarify source-to-report logic, reduce repeated checking and reconciliation, and make important business numbers safer to use.
That work sits inside a trusted information ecosystem: the connection between captured data, semantic meaning, business interpretation, action and realised value. Data Value Chain Architecture and the Semantic Layer Gate make those controls practical without losing sight of the delivery work.
